The Somerset Levels and Mendip Hills offer great opportunities for bird watching and photography. There is an abundance of Nature reserves, wildlife parks and wetlands. Being flat, the Somerset Levels lends itself to some lazy cycling, alternatively the more experienced can venture up the Mendip Hills, host to some of the Country’s prestigious mountain biking events.
Wells, one of the smallest Cities in England, boasts one of the country’s largest Cathedrals. The amazing West Front cannot be missed.
