10 things to pack for Strawberryfield Park this Summer

One of the added luxuries of a staycation in the UK is avoiding those annoying weight limitations when packing, however, we do still understand alternative packing dilemmas.

So, to ensure you can fit all your essentials in your car, we have composed a small packing list for you.

1. Swimsuit

All lodges at Strawberryfield Park include your very own, bubbling hot tub on a private decking.

2. Sunglasses

If the weather is going to be as incredible as the previous Summer in England, then you’re going to need a good pair of sunglasses.

3. Sunscreen

It’s always good to be prepared for the sunshine.

4. Camera

This isn’t necessarily an essential but wouldn’t it be great to capture some of Somerset’s most beautiful surroundings and greatest moments?

5. Walking shoes

You don’t have to be an avid walker to visit Cheddar, however, some of the best places close to Strawberryfield Park are accessed by walking a mile or two. Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury Tor and Black Rock Nature Walk are just some of the well-known attractions recommended by most of our guests.

6. Phone and charger

Majority of people wouldn’t leave home without it. Great for use as a sat nav and although we provide a welcome folder full of places to visit in the local area, it’s great for researching.

7. A good book

You may not even read it, you might even forget you packed it but one of the most appealing features of Strawberryfield Park is that it’s quiet, calming and tranquil making it the perfect reading spot.

8. Spending money

As with any holiday, it’s great to put some money aside and don’t forget to bring some cash with you as you may find some shops independent nearby don’t accept cards just yet. The best part? Strawberryfield Park is located only 12 miles from Clark’s Village, retail shopping outlet in Street so it’s a great excuse to get your spend on.

9. Binoculars

Our park is situated in the centre of some of Somerset’s most beautiful countryside making it the perfect home for some extra inhabitants.  Superb for nature lovers, birdwatching and admiring our stunning views of the rolling Mendip Hills and Somerset Levels in the distance.

10. Jumper/cardigan

It maybe Summer but to avoid those chilly days and cool evenings, make sure to pack a warm alternative. Being able to experience your holiday to it’s fullest without feeling stuck is what’s truly important.

Don’t forget, Strawberryfield Park provide you with towels, robes, a hairdryer and bed linen and a small welcome pack including milk, tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits but it’s important to remember to do a shop for your stay too.
