Why we love it.
Lucy – The floor to ceiling windows that span the whole front of the lodge are spectacular, with gorgeous tailor made sheer curtains that make you feel like you’re abroad. Not to mention the sunset view!
Will – Each bedroom has its own dressing room with mirrored sliding doors to the bathrooms. The lounge with corner sofa and wall mounted B&O TV makes the perfect area for an evening of entertainment.
Mike- The huge decking area has plenty of seating and tables including a tiled decking feature the same as dining room… so when sliding doors are open the dining room extends onto the decking.

Another super stay, this time in Burrington. Super facilities and clean with all mod cons for a relaxing stay. Large lodge and plenty of room to stretch out and relax. The team members we did see were very polite and friendly. Couple of things this time, the super smart TV seemed to keep turning itself off, no idea why and the hot tub, with the exception of day one was only a best warm, showing 35, which was questionable. As it was a stay over new year we did not bother the team to try and sort. All that said, this is an amazing place to stay, and will certainly be back. As an added point of info the super cool Cider barn is fab and friendly, but keep an eye on opening times as changed during our stay to open from 1600.

Our 3rd time at Strawberryfield Park and first time in Burrington. Having previously stayed in Cheddar Pink, it’s pretty much exactly the same except the decor. All felt very high end and good quality inside, outside space very nice (though it rained a lot so we didn’t use it as much). Hot tub very nice too, was hot when we arrived and we went in frequently. This isn’t a cheap option, but the cost is justified when the accommodation quality is this high. Customer service consistently very good from the team, no issues to report.

We stayed in Burrington as a family of 3. We were instantly impressed with the appearance of the property, and the positioning within the site. The property was spotless, with top-range facilities. The beds were extremely comfy, and the outside space was excellent. Unfortunately, the weather did not allow us to try out the BBQ, but we spent a lot of time in the hot-tub. The temperature was fine for us, and we were not over-looked in any way so it was totally private. The Cider Barn at the end of the site is welcoming and friendly – we tried a takeaway pizza and it was great. Cheddar is a very short drive away, and there were plenty of other attractions close by (Glastonbury, Wells, Weston-Super-Mare, Longleat and others). I would highly recommend this property to others, and we look forward to returning.
