Eighteenth in our lodge spotlight series is the bright and airy, spring favourite that is Pamela’s Meadow – rated 5 Gold by Visit England.
It’s impossible to step into Pamela’s Meadow and not fall in love at first sight. Bright, welcoming and with a spacious feel, it’s been designed to a very high standard throughout. Beautiful contemporary furnishings blend effortlessly providing a homely ambience. The open plan living space makes spending time as a family easy, with calming tones and a corner sofa, space for the whole gang. Pamela’s meadow was named after the park owners Mum who personally tends to the wild garden herself – find out more below!
“Hello,I’m Pam (Pamela), Mikes Mum. Mike named this lodgeafter me on my 80th Birthday. I was really chuffed. Healso said, if I wanted, I could plant up and look after theflower borders.I love my garden in Wells, it’s a bit wild, but I think ifsomething takes the trouble to seed itself- I let it. Lucy – The lounge set up is perfection! Corner sofa, large wall mounted TV and log burner- bliss!

5.0 out of 5We have visited this park numerous times over the past few years. Staying in Mulberry, Deer Leap, Nyland, The Sleights & Pamela’s Meadow. We love the huge corner sofa & log burner in Pamela’s Meadow. So cosy for the winter. All the lodges are beautiful inside, furnished to a high standard and the best equipped lodges we have visited. I’m sure we will be back in 2025!

Great stay always guaranteed
A stay at Strawberry Fields is becoming a tradition. This year saw our second visit with friends and we are already planning to come back next year. We stay in Pamela’s Meadow and love it. It’s light and airy but cosy and the perfect spot for chilling out after a day exploring the area. We love visiting the Cider Barn too just by the entrance. Great base for exploring the area It’s so peaceful here and whether you sit in the hot tub, sit under the stars (covered eating area with twinkling lights over) of relax on the sofas with the log burner going – it’s a great spot and can highly recommend.

5.0 out of 5On arrival the lodge was immaculately clean, really appreciated all the little extras such as milk, coffee, tea, sugar, dishwasher pods etc. the lodge felt cosy and warm throughout our stay. The hot tub was always at temperature. I loved the starlight canopy at night. I stay in lodges in the Somerset area every year with friends and this lodge was my favourite to date. It definitely felt 5*. The log burner was amazing too. The park is beautiful and all staff extremely knowledgeable and helpful especially the maintenance staff who I stopped to talk to whilst taking a walk around the park. I can see why people return every year. I would highly recommended Strawberryfield park and will definitely be returning.What made you choose this particular lodge?
