It’s August and we are nearing the end of ‘official’ British summertime. Although we never really know what to expect with the infamous British weather, at least we can guarantee one thing;

Kingswood – The name gives it away! A perfect walk in the woods for all weathers. Situated in Winscombe, about a 10-minute drive from the park.
100 Flavours Ice Cream awaits you at the bottom of the Gorge. With unimaginable flavour combinations, you won’t know where to start. Maybe one on the way up and one on the way back down would be acceptable?!
Gorgeous Animals doggie bakery make the perfect reward for pup on your exploration of the Gorge. Situated midway up and conveniently placed next to a green area and benches for that well-earned rest.
With fresh white rolls and an array of fillings to choose from, Hanford’s Deli is a must stop for lunch on the go. Conveniently placed just by the park, the perfect place for a picnic. Also, their locally sourced coffees and hot chocolates are fantastic!
Frosty winter nights and twinkling stars whilst snuggled under the blanket on your covered courtyard. Hot chocolate in hand and the log burner lit, ready for film night with all the snacks.
Crispy leaves and fresh autumn air make for the perfect evening hot tub dip. Settle in with a glass of bubbles as the steam rises around you whilst you watch the famous Somerset sunset.
