Cheddar Gorge & Caves is bringing The Illuminated Cave with Wallace & Gromit and Friends to life this spring. Running from Saturday 28th March to Sunday 31st May 2026, visitors will step into 50 years of Aardman magic as Gough’s Cave is transformed into a spectacular illuminated trail.
Deep underground, the cave becomes a glowing, immersive experience celebrating Wallace, Gromit, and other beloved characters. Beautifully lit lanterns recreate iconic scenes, combining humour, creativity, and a dash of mischief.

For a more relaxed, grown-up Easter atmosphere, head to Wraxall Vineyard for their annual Easter Trail set among the vines.
While the trail itself keeps children entertained (£5 per child, paid on the day, including an Easter egg), the real highlight for adults is the setting — sweeping vineyard views, quality local food, and the chance to enjoy a glass of Somerset wine in the spring sunshine.
