Puxton Park Pumpkin Patch
Pick your own pumpkin- with over 40,000 pumpkins for you to choose from.
Admission to the Pumpkin Patch is FREE. You do not need to visit the park in order to visit the Pumpkin Patch but you could make a whole day of it!
Wells Carnival
Watch in awe as brilliantly illuminated floats, talented musicians, and energetic dance acts weave through the medieval streets of Wells, creating an unforgettable evening of colour and celebration. The Somerset Carnivals are the largest illuminated processions in the world.
By far the biggest event of the season.

Magique – Wookey Hole
A magic and illusion performance suitable for all the family. Tickets for Wednesday 30 October are now available to book. The show has been created by the Directors of Hocus Pocus and The Magic Circus, the stars of Magique will delight and confound your senses. You won’t believe your eyes!
The Comedy Cavern – Wookey Hole
Adults Only
The Comedy Cavern is back at Wookey Hole this December for a fabulous night of banter, toe-curling gags, and side-splitting laughter. The Comedy Cavern welcomes both known and up-and-coming stars so you can say you ‘saw them before they were famous’.
A spooky Halloween event – 5 haunted attractions including a Haunted Tractor Ride, Journey to Hell, Asylum and Freak Show.

Twilight Tobogganing – Mendip Activity Centre
Designed for families with children aged 4+. Everyone gets a free Santa hat and use of a toboggan- adults too. With holiday music in the air, whizz down the outdoor slope in a whirl of colourful fairy lights and lasers, with snow from a real snow machine dusting your cheeks.
Then run back up to do it all again!
