Here at Strawberryfield Park we think that Winter isn’t given the credit it deserves…
Granted, this could be because us Brits feel as though we spend a good 80% of the year without any sunshine. However, if you take a step back and think about not only the gorgeous sights it brings but also all the feelings of being cosy, at home and content, it makes you realise that sometimes we don’t appreciate what’s right in front of us.
So, let’s take a moment to appreciate the little things.

The sun catching the frost creating the most gorgeous glittery scene right outside your lodge.
Darker nights offering the opportunity for our outdoor (wildlife friendly!) mood -lighting to shine.
Coffees under the starlit courtyard; blanket and book in hand.
Dips in the hot tub with extra steam and a frosty nose.
Log burners, baskets of logs, and cosy toes.
Waking up and moving to the sofa, duvet and all!

We stayed in the Charterhouse lodge and couldn’t recommend it more! The layout of the lodge is so cozy and homey-like and it has everything you need! The musical bath is a great feature and the bed feels like you are sleeping on a cloud. There is everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway right at your door step. The hot tub was our favourite part! This was our second time there and it’s safe to say we will 100% be back again!Date of stay: December 2024

A stay at Strawberry Fields is becoming a tradition. This year saw our second visit with friends and we are already planning to come back next year. We stay in Pamela’s Meadow and love it. It’s light and airy but cosy and the perfect spot for chilling out after a day exploring the area. We love visiting the Cider Barn too just by the entrance.

It’s so peaceful here and whether you sit in the hot tub, sit under the stars (covered eating area with twinkling lights over) of relax on the sofas with the log burner going – it’s a great spot and can highly recommend.Date of stay: March 2024
